If tomorrow never comes...

A couple of hundreds years ago, Benjamin Franklin revealed the secret of his success: "Never leave that 'til tomorrow' which you could do today." This is the man that discovered electricity. And you would think that most of us would listen to what he had to say. But sadly, for some reason we put things off. And if I had to guess why, I'd say it had to do with fear. Fear of failure. Fear of pain. Fear of rejection. Sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if we choose wrong? What if we make a mistake that we can't undo. Whatever it is that we are afraid of, there is just one truth. That by the time the pain of not doing the thing the thing gets worse than the fear of doing it.
